Who should visit the Waterworks?

Anyone aged 4 to 84!
The Waterworks is for everyone - there are no barriers to entry and there is something for absolutely every age group.  We often get comments from our customers that the Waterworks "brought back the kid in them!"

Group events
We have so much space at the Waterworks we are an ideal venue for holding group events such as children’s birthday parties, weddings and other special occasions. We are ideally set up for small to medium sized groups offering superb catering in an idyllic location.

School groups
Teachers love bringing school groups to the Waterworks as there is the fun component and if you want to add an educational part to the visit there is the “story of water” to demonstrate. Bring your own food and refreshments, relax in our bush setting picnic sites and use our outdoor BBQ’s.

Social groups
For social groups we offer a fantastic stop off point for morning or afternoon teas or if you have more time in an itinerary you can walk through the Waterworks and enjoy lunch in our tent pavilion. Each year we run a series of concerts showcasing local musical talent. Dates are posted regularly on our website or you may wish to join our newsletter.

Dining only
You don't have to pay an entry fee to visit our cafe so come out for a great coffee or delicious lunch.
Access friendly
For those in wheel chairs or with push chairs we've got ramp access and the paths are flat and user friendly.  We've got a wheelchair and mobility scooter onsite and provide a free loan service for this equipment.  Call in advance to reserve.
