About the Coromandel

Experience Coromandel Town

The Waterworks is located 10 minutes drive from Coromandel Town. This small village has still kept its colonial charm. Many of the original buildings, houses and churches have been preserved. A vibrant main street full of both locals and visitors. Cafes, restaurants and gift shops intermingle with the local Hardware store, laundry, local school and Four Square supermarket.

A popular holiday destination for Aucklanders, a three hour drive allows you to shake off the stress of city living. Replace the business attire for shorts and a t-shirt. High heals and city oxford lace ups for jandals or bare feet.

A fun friendly town, vibrant arts scene with a strong community spirit.

Coromandel Town has a small but excellent range of accommodation to choose from. Backpackers to intimate luxury B&Bs and almost everything else in between.
